I started volunteering at the Sierra Club in 2015 because I wanted to be an active part in fighting climate change. I now serve as the Chicago Group Rep to the Illinois Chapter Executive Committee since 2018, the Chicago Executive Committee and Chair of the Chicago Political Team. I have worked with other volunteers to make sure that Sierra Club is a force in Illinois politics by helping endorse and elect dozens of environmental champions. My experience in organizing and political campaigns has given me a unique perspective on how we approach our political work at Sierra Club. Now more than ever, I would love to continue bringing my knowledge and passion to help elect environmental champions who will bring a clean energy future to Illinois and fight for environmental justice.
